We have been working our way down the West Coast from Westport. For the 29th-31st we stayed just north of San Francisco in San Rafael at my sister Carolyn's house. Just across the bay from San Francisco. We did nothing. Yep, we did laundry, read, visited, took naps, and watch TV. I know we are next to one of the major cities in the world but sometimes you just have to stop and rest. That is what we did.
What has been interesting is that we have pretty much driven by every city we have come near. We only drove into St. Louis to get a picture by the arch but that was only for five minutes. To much traffic, we drive the other way, to many roads we drive around. That is how it a been. We have mostly been in just small, kind of one road towns. Tomorrow we drive to the mega city of Los Angles to visit our daughter Isabelle. So I guess we will be in one city, this should make up for all the others.
