The Official Car of the Road Trip with Bruce and Louise

We have an official car for the road trip, our 2015 Subaru Forrester. What is cool about this car besides the green noodles on the roof racks, is the Eyesight driver assist technology. All Subaru's will come with this for 2016 or 17?, but we just happen to have one of the 2015 models. The Eyesight gives you an extra set of eyes on the road, it helps with braking in an emergency, lets you know when you are drifting out of your lane but the thing I like the most is the intelligent cruise control. You can use cruise control in fairly moderate traffic. You set the speed and the car adjusts by itself up and down depending on the cars in front of you. It works really well and really helps reduce fatigue.

Why the green noodles on the roof racks. Well design wise this car isn't all that different than comparable Honda's and Toyota's. We are very pleased with the car, it works really well but all three of these brands use the same or almost the same green paint color. We found ourselves walking up to the wrong car. So to help it stand out a little better we added some color to the roof racks.
